Reading Lesson Overview #2

I did my second mini lesson with same three students that I did my first mini lesson. Since my students do not get much time reading books in the classroom nor my CT reads to them, so I thought students may need to learn to retell the story in their own words or phrasing the story that the teacher reads them. In order to retell the story, students need to comprehend the story that I will read to them. I used the some of the comprehension strategies which were discussed in the chapter 8 of Tompkins such as predicting, questioning, and determining importance etc.
